In Like Sin

Well....I think we already know this but, pastels and animal prints are in like sin this spring. What I love about the Chloe and Zac Posen collection is that they put those looks out there....and properly done! I LOVE that Chloe uses darker earthy tones as well....not all pastels. If you watched the red carpet at the Oscars....Sarah Jessica Parker had it right....barely mint is sooo hot this spring too! Of course it is, its a pastel! Basically what it comes down to is that spring is time for a wide range of colors....mix them with pastels and you are set to rock! Oscar De La Renta

I am in LOVE with Oscar de la Renta! The spring '09 line is amazing! All of the floral and mix materials flow together so perfectly. I love the look of a well put together outfit...the shoes.....jewelry....hair.....his looks cover every aspect of all of those! Isnt the bathing suit amazing! You would throw on a skirt or even a pair of jeans and having the most bangin' outfit ever!! If I had to pick a designer to do all of my clothes for the rest of my life........he would be it! Who would you choose?

Pretty in Peach

I stumbled across these two little numbers while on one of my usual hunts. They are 70s uniforms! I love the lil' apron like dress. So versatile....add a different colored top and boom....a whole other look! I would have loved to have been a nurse wearing these! Flirty.....fun.....peach always makes for a great looking tan! Like I'm sure I have not mentioned this before...;) but we are shooting more for our spring collection....these are just a couple of peeks of what we have up now in our etsy shop! A very detailed mexican embroidered tent dress. This is perfect for those hot days when you don't feel like being stylish but more comfy......well this dress gives you both....style and comfort! Who could resist this pin-up bombshell mini?! I love the HUGE open back. Shows just the right amount of skin and hugs every sexy lady curve. I have always been a HUGE fan of rompers......onesies......playsuits.....all of them! They are fun and cool way to show your fashion personality. I think the bolder the color.....the more fun. Check this latest find.....it is a designer Montaldo's for Jerry Silverman.....and a bit of history!

Montaldo's, a lady's specialty shop, was started in 1919 by two sisters, Lillian and Nelle Montaldo. Silverman was dress company that did adaptations of Paris designs and were known for their Americanized versions of Balenciaga designs. They are featured in Museum’s collection of historical fashion.

Saving the best for last....wasnt it ovbious?! I have always been a super fan of SATC......who isnt?! Her style has grown since the show and she has become a favorite fashion icon of mine. On the red carpet she stands out from the rest. On the streets of NY she can part a crowd....even in a pair of jeans and a simple tee! I do think she is beautiful too......call me crazy. Chloe Sevigny......I have always admired her style...she is most definitely a risk taker and who doesnt love that! The orange mini she doned is something I would kill to have in my closet. Carolina Kourkova....once was knocked for being too fat for the runway?! Does anyone see what I see......curves....slender! She is a natural beauty. Cameron Diaz. I love her as she always wears something fun and flirty. She showcases her personality through her wardrobe which is how it should be. Drew Barrymore. From red carpet to street style.....she has hit the nail on the head. Indie rock n' roll cool. Okay...so you rarely see Marisa Miller in clothes....normally a bikini but I picked her as she is soooo beautiful....how lucky can one be?! Marisa Tomei.....I also believe is a beauty...maybe not classic but in all of her movies I cant help but stare! She has taken risks on the red carpet but I think her fasion sense is coming along. Nicole Richie.....I cant say much else....I think she is a favorite on everyones list! Last...Jennifer Aniston. I know I may have mentioned this before....but I adore and LOVE this shop! Boylerpf has the best antique...victorian....art nouveau....deco....vintage eclectic and 40s jewelry ever! This shop is about quality and the uniqueness of each and every hand picked item. Her descriptions are amazing....they put you back in the era of when the jewelry was made.
