Its Been Over A Month?!

previously i had mentioned that i do tend to disappear from the blogging world. never has it been this long! between working at the lodge and my vintage online shop, i have barely had time to come up for air. today is nice as i do have that time!

Back In the Saddle

Oh yeah- I definitely tend to disappear from the blogging world sometimes. I have a good reason this time though! Im pulling double duty these days. My vintage etsy shop is always number one, however I have also been working at a lodge as their head chef. (2 months only) Fun yes- time consuming- definitely. So we picked up this lovely little bust model. LOVE her! Makes working two jobs so much easier- she does not fuss;). No make-up, hair fixing, pinning required. Just a few looks from our shop on our newbie. What do you think her name should be?

Manic Monday

As you can see from the above picture....I had a blast at my cousins wedding this past weekend. boylerpf is able to pretty much sum it up. I was watching an episode of 'The Nanny' the other night (yeah...I watch it and love it) Fran went out of the house to a premiere event but did not get a chance to change her bag to match her leopard print gown. Gone Country...Kind Of

This past weekend was the Brown County Fair. Im not a huge fair fan....love the rides and all but the food is wayyy spendy. (and for not a lot!) It seems that everyone likes to dress up as a cowboy or cowgirl. My campus riding boots...yeah...that was about as country as I was going to get. I definitely stuck out like a sore thumb in my Carnival of Souls mini dress. (which is available at our shop) This weekend is the city lights festival. Not sure how everyone dresses here for that....Im sure I will stick out yet again!

Last weekend, I was away at a bridal shower for my cousin. Now dont hate....they are just not my thing....at all. The plus side of it though was I got to go thrifting afterwards. I was like a kid waiting to go swimming after eating. I couldnt wait to get out of there and go! For where we were...I pretty much scored some awesome threads.
